How many applications a day is too many?
Volume helps — until quality drops. Here’s a simple way to find your number.

Job search is partly a numbers game, but only when every application is a real fit. Ten good ones beat fifty rushed ones.
A simple rule
Apply to every role that matches your must-haves, as early as you can, with a tailored CV. If that’s more than you can do well, your filters are too wide — not your effort too low.
Tip
Write down three must-haves: role, level, minimum salary. Skip everything else.
Only roles that fit your must-haves
Tau skips everything below your salary floor and shows the best matches first.

Frequently asked questions
How many applications does Tau send?
Up to your plan's daily limit — 5 a day on Starter, 10 on Pro, 15 on Max (about 100 or 300 a month on Starter and Pro) — and only as many as there are strong matches you approve.
Can I set a daily limit?
Your plan sets it: 5, 10 or 15 a day. 15 is the safety cap for every account, and you can pause everything any time.
What if a role isn’t a fit?
Every role is scored against your CV and preferences, with the reasons shown. You skip it — and autopilot only approves roles above your minimum score.
